Hotelul Hans Brinker situat in Amsterdam,  are o reputatie foarte serioasa ca fiind cel mai prost hotel din lume cu cea mai proasta servire si cele mai mizerabile camere .
Clienti lor sunt sfatuiti sa foloseasca metode mai eco pentru a se usca pe par (gen deschizi geamul si lasi aerul sa isi faca treba)
sau in loc de prosoapele de la baie sa folosesti draperia, Eco-liftul (aka scari)
Insa in ciuda reclamelor negative si a abordari total diferite se pare ca studenti si excursioniști apreciaza farmecul cinstit pe care hotelul Hans Brinker il ofera.
 
O persoana care a stat in hotel spune:[quote] ‘I’d read other reviews of the hostel before we got there, so was a bit nervous. Unfortunately most of the reviews I’d read were completely true. The rooms were like prison cells, with rickety old beds and metal lockers that didn’t close properly.[/quote]
